For over 14 years, the Rain Forest Aerial Tram has been greatly successful in Costa Rica. The initial investment started with the circuit in the Braulio Carrillo National Park in Costa Rica’s Atlantic Region.
The Tram’s success was overwhelming due to its characteristic of allowing visitors to get up close and personal with certain areas otherwise unreachable by foot. Its carefully planned construction caused a minimal environmental impact by transporting structures via helicopter thus avoiding cutting down trees and opening roads for large trucks to transit.
After the Tram’s success in Costa Rica’s Atlantic Region, representatives found it fit to open a second installment in Costa Rica’s Pacific Region in the Jaco area. The Rain Forest Aerial Tram therefore offers its guests a chance to closely observe the Atlantic Rain Forest as well as the Pacific Tropical Forest.
Due to its success in Costa Rica, the Rain Forest Aerial Tram has also opened a branch in the island of St. Lucia and Dominica showcasing its extensive rain forest as well. A slightly different installment was also inaugurated in Jamaica where visitors may enjoy a relaxing tram ride or the bobsled ride in reference to the famous Jamaican bobsled team which made history at the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Canada.
Furthermore, the once Costa Rica’s emblematic Rain Forest Aerial Tram will not only remain within the Caribbean but is also seeking to open a new park in Mexico as well as adventure in a completely new territory such as Alaska.
